Materials & Care
We consciously choose stainless steel over silver for many of our designs because it offers superior durability and long-term stability.
While silver is visually appealing, it is a soft metal that can wear down more quickly and may react with gemstones and other elements, leading to discoloration, deformation, or reduced longevity over time.
Stainless steel, on the other hand, is highly resistant, scratch-resistant, and far less reactive, making it ideal for everyday jewelry and long-lasting designs.
We work with different grades of stainless steel, including 304, 316, and 316L, each with specific properties suited to different applications. Understanding these differences is essential when choosing the right material, and we are always happy to advise you individually.
Titanium
Titanium is another material we value for selected designs.
It is extremely lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and hypoallergenic, making it an excellent choice for people with sensitive skin or metal allergies.
Unlike silver, titanium does not tarnish or react easily with skin, moisture, or environmental factors. Its strength combined with a minimal, modern look makes it ideal for functional, long-lasting jewelry pieces.
Soft Soldering
Some of our designs are created using soft soldering techniques.
Soft soldering allows us to securely connect elements such as stones, metal components, and decorative details while maintaining design flexibility.
We use lead-free solder, ensuring safety and durability.
This technique is especially suitable for artistic, handcrafted pieces where precision, structure, and material compatibility are essential.
