Important rules 💜
Display option
A usage fee of 6€ per month applies for each booked shelf half. If you choose not to use this option, please send or bring your own fitting display.
Every individual item must have a readable artist name , price and barcode. If this information cannot be attached directly to the item, the item must have suitable packaging to which the labels can be securely attached. Items that are not correctly registered and labelled will not be displayed or sold.
If products are delivered without the required price or artist-name labelling, a 5€ penalty fee applies. This fee is not a service fee and does not include any labelling work by us.
The artist must collect the incorrectly labelled items or pay for return shipping. The items can only be displayed after they have been labelled correctly and meet all requirements.
After the contract and invoice have been processed, you will receive your personal Kyte access. You must register every product in Kyte yourself and complete the product list as shown in the example before delivery or setup. Booking the barcode service does not include or replace either of these steps.
The optional barcode service costs 10€ once and only includes printing the barcode names you submit as readable barcode labels. You must invent and enter the barcode names yourself, complete the product list, register the products in Kyte, and add the price and artist name to every item.
Products must be suitably packaged if a barcode cannot be attached directly. We may place labels directly on unpackaged products and are not liable for resulting damage, or refuse to label and display unsuitable items while still charging the service fee.
All required information, including full ingredient lists (where applicable) and safety warnings, must be clearly visible on the product or its packaging.
The store sells the artist’s products on behalf of and for the account of the respective artist because the artist is not present in the store. The full sales proceeds belong to the artist. The respective artist remains the seller of their products and is responsible for statutory warranty claims relating to them.
We do not offer voluntary exchanges or returns for unwanted items. This does not limit a customer’s statutory rights if a product is defective. Statutory warranty claims for goods generally remain possible for up to two years from the date the product is handed over to the customer.
If a customer raises a warranty claim, we may forward the claim to the relevant artist or provide the customer with the artist’s necessary seller contact or return-address details. The artist must remain reachable and handle the claim promptly, including repair, replacement or another legally required remedy where applicable.
For this purpose, we may retain the necessary seller contact and return address details for two years after the end of the booked sales period. The data will only be used for warranty claims and related legal obligations.
Shelf damage & residue
Displays, stickers, tape, or other materials may only be used if they can be removed completely by hand without leaving any residue. If your setup leaves residue, causes damage to the shelf, or cannot be removed cleanly, a processing fee equivalent to the selected shelf size and display period for the affected shelf will be charged.
If you need return shipping, you must contact us during the final week of your booked period to arrange it. If you do not contact us, we may pack and return the items to the address provided and deduct the packaging and shipping costs from your final payout.
If the final payout does not cover the return costs, an invoice will be issued and the items will only be shipped after full payment. If an invoice remains unpaid for six months, we reserve the right to keep and sell the items to recover the outstanding amount. Pricing will be at our discretion.
If you agreed to collect your products, they must be collected before the first day of the next month. If they are not collected on time, a 30€ late fee applies.
If return shipping, including packaging, costs less than the late fee and a valid return address is available, we may pack and return the items instead and deduct the actual costs from your final payout.
Items that cannot be returned or are not collected are stored for 10€ per commenced month. Each started storage month is charged in full. Fees may be deducted from any outstanding payout.
Your full shelf setup must be transportable without a large box and easy to handle.
If you apply from outside the EU, payouts will be collected and paid out at the end of the full rental period due to high transfer costs. You must provide PayPal or cover any additional international transfer fees.
Shelf spaces are provided on a monthly participation basis. As we are also artists, the store may occasionally be closed on weekends due to conventions or events. These possible closures are already considered in the low processing fee.
Sales tracking during use
During the active period, we do not provide real-time individual item tracking. Sold items are reported in your monthly sales statement and payout overview.
Duration & extensions
We strongly recommend booking the full period instead of extending month by month. Extensions cannot be requested spontaneously or shortly before the current period ends. If you want to extend, you must submit a new application at least three weeks before the requested extension begins.
An extension is not guaranteed. It depends on availability, and previous participants are not automatically prioritized.
You are not required to send all items for the full 3-month period at once. Restocking is allowed at any time. However, the barcode service fee will apply again for newly added items if you do not provide your own barcodes.
All additional stock must fit within the allocated shelf space. Items that do not fit must not exceed the volume of a standard sports shoe box. Excess items may be refused or not accepted for storage.
Kyte & barcode system 💜
All products must be registered through your personal Kyte access before they are delivered or set up in the store. The product list must also be completed fully, following the format shown in the example below.
Open product list template
How it works
- Each product type gets one barcode.
- All identical items use the same barcode.
- The barcode must match the product entry in Kyte and be attached to the product.
- You must create the barcode names yourself, even if you book the barcode printing service.
- Without a barcode, items cannot be sold.
Example
- Artist: Moonbun Studio – Product: Sticker Cat – Quantity: 10 – Price: 3€ – Barcode: MOONBUN001
- Artist: Moonbun Studio – Product: A5 Print Star – Quantity: 5 – Price: 8€ – Barcode: MOONBUN002
- Artist: Moonbun Studio – Product: Keychain Heart – Quantity: 8 – Price: 12€ – Barcode: MOONBUN003
Barcode rules 💜
- You can freely choose your barcode names.
- Barcodes must be unique and clearly identifiable.
- Please do not use simple or generic codes like 1, 2, 3 or similar.
- We recommend combining your artist name with numbers, for example MOONBUN001.
- You are free to use your own barcode system if it follows a similar structured format.
- As long as your barcodes are clear and unique, we can integrate them into our system 💜
- Every physical item must be labelled with the correct barcode, price and artist name.
When using the barcode printing service
Products with the same category and price must be grouped under one barcode. For example, all stickers priced at 2€ must be entered together as Artist Name – Sticker – 2€, even if they have different designs.
The service does not include a separate barcode or detailed sales tracking for every individual design. If you want each design tracked separately, you must create the separate entries and print and attach the individual barcodes yourself.
