Kytee Guide
How to add your products correctly for selling them in our shop.
1. Open Products
Open the menu on the left side in Kytee and go to Products.
Then click the + button to add a new product.

2. Add a New Product
First, enter the product name and the price.
Product name
Use your artist name + the product type.
Artistname Sticker Artistname Keychain Artistname A5 Print
Price
Enter the selling price that is also written on the item.

3. Fill Out Details
Open the Details section.
Category
Enter your artist name here.
Code
Enter the barcode here.
The barcode must be scannable in Kytee. Please test it yourself in the app before handing in your products. When scanned, the correct product name and correct price must appear.

4. Add Stock
Go to Stock at the top.
Activate Manage stock for this product and enter the number of items you are handing in under On hand.
After that, you can create the product.

No Variants and No Selection Fields
Do not use variants in Kytee.
Do not create anything where our staff has to select something at checkout.
There must be no selection needed for color, size, design, product type or price.
Everything that uses the same barcode must have the same price. Different prices need separate products and separate barcodes.
Grouping Products
You can group products with the same price if that is enough for your monthly sales overview.
In that case, leave out the specific design or motif in the product name.
Artistname Sticker – €3.00 Artistname Keychain – €10.00 Artistname A5 Print – €8.00
Then your monthly sales overview will only show how many stickers, keychains or prints were sold. It will not show which exact design was sold.
The more precisely you enter your products, the more precise your sales overview at the end of the month can be.
Barcodes
All products must be entered in Kytee by yourself.
You also need to create, print and attach the barcodes yourself.
Each barcode must be tested before handing in your products. Scan the barcode in Kytee and check if the correct item with the correct price appears.
If a barcode cannot be scanned, is linked to the wrong product, or requires our staff to select anything at checkout, the item cannot be sold.
Sales and Discounts
If you want to offer a discount, the reduced price must be clearly marked on every single item.
A sign on the shelf is not enough.
